There are Four Mind Clone Types That you will be dealing with as we develop the Global Business World.Index Of Mind Clone Types1. Group Type and Preconceived Type = Stable Monocloner 2. Individual Type and Preconceived Type = Multiclone Experimenter 3. Group Type and Flexible Type = Polyclone Experimenter 4. Individual Type and Flexible Type = Pure Colonizer 1. Group Type and Preconceived Type = Stable Monocloner The Stable Monocloner (SM) is a Group Thinker and Preconceived Thinker about other Mind Clones. Their greatest strength seems to be the maintenance of cultural values, and the preservation of traditions. They serve as good leaders through their interest in and ability to organize community effort for these types of endeavors. They might be found in the Historical Society, Daughters of the American Revolution, looking up genealogy, or in museums. These types are vital to an organization in maintaining a straight path to the mission and goals set out by membership and leaders. They are vital because too much change can destroy the basic values that led to the formation of the organization. It is vital to keep core values and mission statements always in mind. These Stable Monocloners are there to keep the group mores at the forefront. They keep some things constant to serve as bastions of strength when the winds of change blow. Without a basic stable point to frame the corporation or the business, you will not know how to build on a strong foundation. Stable Monocloners tend to keep values of the corporations or small businesses on an even keel, consistent with the group’s workable framework. They seem to work best in organizations focused on a specific type of activity. They might prefer a mature industry rather than a leading edge type. Some careers include accountants, comptrollers, CFOs, historians, librarians or any one whose job involves keeping the group aware of the group’s core values. It doesn't matter what type of organization it is, far right or far left. Whether it’s the Sierra Club, the Nature Conservancy or a coal company, they seek to preserve the core value of the organization. Their interest is in staying close to the center of the group’s core interest rather than straying out to the periphery. They want to keep what is constant and stable, and they are ardent about their beliefs. These are the people who can help hold your organization together in hard times. They steer you to get back to basics, back to your original charter. They keep reminding you who you are and what you stand for. They’ll support you when you try to expand too fast, or try to move into too many product lines. They’ll be there to keep you working on your cash cows, your core products that your company depends upon. You cannot run a corporate nation or a small business without these people. They are the bedrock of your firm. They tend not to make major decisions about new entrants without the support and approval of the group leader, informal or formal. Once the group leaders approve of someone, only then will they move towards a newcomer. They’ll stand back until everyone has accepted them. Once the group accepts the person, the Stable Monocloner will be an staunch supporter and accept him heartily. But Not Before! 2. Individual Type and Preconceived Type = Multiclone ExperimenterA Multiclone Experimenter (ME) tends to start off with preconceived notions because they have always been open to new ideas. Over their lives they have taken many positions. They are avid learners, reading, and interacting to find out more and more ideas. Throughout their lives new ideas have come to them. That’s because they actively search for them. With each data set they access, they tend to add this data to their present memory chips. As a result their greatest strength lies in the fact that they are continually adding new information sets to their database. While they enter any situation with preconceived notions, these notions are usually the result of their own individual experiences and knowhow. They do not go to the group for their ideas, but develop them from their own sets of experiences. They have a strong belief system which is an asset, not a liability. They are constantly seeking only their own inner validations. When placed in an environment with competent members of another previously never encountered Mind Clone, they start afresh. They do not carry preconceived notions from family, school, home, TV, books, society or any other group. They insist on forming their own strong opinions based on their own experiences. They may have started out in the past with negative experience with other Mind Clones. Although these experiences were in the negative side of the Spectrum, when new information comes in they will easily move along the Spectrum of Acceptance, positively or negatively, depending on information they gather. They are called Multiclone Experimenters because they are willing to see for themselves how things really are. They want to "see for themselves". Even though they start out with strong convictions or find themselves on one place on the spectrum, with new input they readily move along the Spectrum of Acceptance. No matter what, they want to know the truth. And the truth they seek is from their own experience. That gives them a great deal of personal power and strength of character. MEs are the ones who will easily change their inner beliefs about other Mind Clones. They can serve as the vanguard for implementing Global Workforce activities in your corporate nation or business. Group Type and Flexible Type = Polyclone ExperimenterThe Polyclone Experimenter (PE) type fluctuates between his or her flexibility and his or her group orientation. They are group oriented and that group may move from one point on the spectrum to another, with the right set of circumstances. How is this done? You will need to pick the most flexible and influential member of the group and influence him/her. S/He will bring the group along. The PE is flexible but still tied to the group. When PEs decide to be open, they can pull the group along. If he or she has leadership capabilities, this could be a positive person for your transition to the Global Workforce. People in this group who are not leadership oriented can only operate under the aegis of the group's mantle. It’s vital to motivate a group oriented leader to see that the group will profit from supporting the change to the Global Workforce. The Polyclone Experimenter will lead the group to accept other Mind Clones for the good of the group. He’ll say, "Line up guys! Our team’s productivity is down. Now I know we want all that bonus. Maybe we don't like these new workers, but you know I’m into getting what I can from this job. We going to give them a chance. We’ve got no choice. We got to use them to get that bonus. I want to win that weekend in Vegas. We’ve got to get a lot of work out of them to beat the other teams. So starting today I say we work with’em, we eat with’em, talk with’em, and we do what we need to do to get the bonuses". This is a powerful person in your workforce. The power of combining flexible with group thinking creates a powerful person for you. Concentrate on his support of the team. Flexibility combined with group thinking enables one to perform great deeds for the good of the group. Their power is working together through group pride. In doing so, they can create great output. Since most of us work in groups today, the power of a Polyclone Experimenter can create great Synergistic Productivity. Individual Type and Flexible Type = Pure ColonizerThe Pure Colonizer (PC) type is a risk taker. This will be the first person to go and sit down to eat lunch with a new employee, whatever the ethnic background. He wants to know what moves the diversity worker, and he wants to find out for himself. The PC is willing to put his money where his mouth is. He will reach out and find out for himself by interacting in public. If he likes the guy, he’ll eat with him again and become a friend. And if they get close, he will invite this person to his/her home. He reserves his decision about other Mind Clones for himself. Even if the group rejects him, he will still be friends with the person he likes. He will sit at the table with the friend in spite of the disapproval of his own Mind Clone. His decision about the new guy is based on his own decision. He’ll say, "I want to see for myself, and if I like what I see, I’ll decide what kind of relationship, if any, I want with him." This is the guy who can easily be the pioneer to lead a sports team made up of many Mind Clones. They are always looking for new ideas from new people. Bring in a new employee and the PC wants to know what they are made of. A Pure Colonizer is the ultimate risk taker, taking chances on finding out new things. He’ll want to "size him up for himself". He wants to see how people work, what their permitteds are and what they want. They are not influenced by anyone else but themselves. Pure Colonizers want to make their own decisions. They are pioneers, being risk takers at the drop of a hat. They are the throwbacks to explorers, world travelers, and adventurers of all types. Chances are PCs will eventually become entrepreneurs. But while the PC is working for you, take advantage of his fearlessness. Get him to share his offbeat ideas. One of them might turn into a multimillion dollar product like sticky tape. When you want to innovate into new areas, or decide to expand the framework of your company’s product line, this is the person needed to lead that move. PCs will seek out new information, find out the market value, and find ways to market these new products. These are the people to lead your charge into the 21st century. This is your Pure colonizer, an adventurer, who is always seeking new ideas, new ways, new kinds of people to interact with. They are probably less than 15 percent of your work force, but their ideas tend to be invaluable.
