![]() The Haiti of The Future |
Today's Haiti is the ultimate case of environmental degredation. When you fly over the island, the Dominican Republic side is green. Immediately you cross the border to Haiti, there is no vegetation. Haiti needs to replant its forests and to regenerate its people so they gain the skills needed to maintain the trees that are planted.
This conference is designed not only to bring together the technical resources needed but to create the community building resources needed to regenerate this country.
