Why should Paul Landon give up this long term relationships with his friend to buy from you?  What guarantee does he have they you will provide as dependable as he.

It doesn’t matter of your products can save Landon Electronic money. Or that you are honest and dependable. They don’t know Paul and Joe go to the same church. Joe has a good reputation in the community. Joe’s a member of the local chamber of commerce and the better business bureau. If there is a problem, Paul Landon has lot of buttons to push to get Joe to make sure he delivers what Landon Electronics needs.

If you are going to compete with the Joe’s of the world, you will have to have someone to vouch for you like Joe has. You will need someone or some group to attest to your adherence to the standard your American buyers expects to meet. You need someone to help you make sure your letters and sales letters speak to Paul Landon they same way Joe Randall does. And you’ve got to make sure your words are just as clear and understanding in perfect American English just like Joe’s.
