The AfroCarib Cup and The La Ceiba Football Academy - The Young African Player's Doorway To Play With Atletico Lenca, Our Young Team With Its Goal Of Winning the Intercontinental Cup
Africa is a vast continent with many world class soccer players. Any time you look at European football teams, English Premier league, Spanish League, Italian league, German League, Dutch League, Irish leagues you will see African players. They tend to be tireless, fast running teams from these soccer countries.
African soccer is known for strength, speed and stamina. Additionally when passing they are extremely accurate. They are fast, quick pivoters and ball handlers, being able to run around on the ball quickly and move at a 180 degree angle.
All over Latin America we see AfroHeritage soccer players from Brazil to Honduras, to Costa Rica to Colombia to Ecuador to Panama.
Yet many of these players never get to communicate with each other. The RED is designed to establish a place for these AfroHeritage players to come together and share their dreams, goals and mutual heritage. In addition, as a group we will be able to provide resources, develop young players in our countries and enhance the game in our various countries.

ISAI has as its goals the development of soccer a game that can bring peace in the world. We are offering the Afro/Carib tournament in La Ceiba, Honduras, the La Ceiba Football Academy as well. In addition, we hope to develop Country Coordinators in African countries, the Caribbean Islands, and Latin America.
The role of Country Coordinator will be an important one, because it will involve the scouting of players and teams, the establishment of projects as well as recruiting teams for our tournaments and academy. This role will be a commissioned one, with the Country Coordinator being compensated for teams from this or her country who attend our academy or tournaments. For example, country coordinators will earn 10 percent of team entry fees for teams they bring to our tournament. They will also earn 5 percent of entry fees for players who enroll in the La Ceiba Academy or summer camps.
ISAI is already involved in supplying used soccer gear to projects in Honduras. We also would like to mount a collection effort to supply soccer gear to teams and groups in Africa, develop a Soccer Against AIDS project in the USA. We would also like to sponsor promising soccer players and teams within African countries.
