Application for VISA

Visa Application fee per player, coach or companion is $175, which includes preparation of VISA in Spanish and presentation to Honduran Immigration office.

  Visiting International Team Application

Honduras requires both Passport and onward/return ticket required. Visa from African countries are required for a stay of up to 30 days. Holders of U.S. passports are issued a 30-day permit which can be renewed every 30 days for up to a maximum 90 day stay. Departure tax is US $30.

For players from African countries, each player must obtain a visa.  Consular Fee **US$ 110.00, Visa Service Fee US$ 65.00. Total (per applicant): US$ 175.00 payable to ISAI, Inc.

ISAI has made arrangements through FENAFUTH for the entry of African and other players into Honduras.   For additional information, complete the below application and submit with funds by April 1, 2005.

Coming to Honduras to play in a soccer tournament requires a Honduras Tourist Visa. This requirements for such a tourism trip is for unpaid participation in athletic event or competition.. You are applying for a tourism visa for the following - unpaid participation in athletic or artistic event or competition.

It is illegal for tourist visa holders to engage in business or professional activities in Honduras.

Procedures:

To apply for a tourist visa to travel to Honduras please send to us the following documents:

 1. Application form (one visa application form per applicant), properly filled out, first and second pages, and duly signed (parents must sign application forms for those under 18 years old). 

Box 22 "Comments" must be filled out, and all boxes 1 thru 27. 2. Passport (copy not accepted) with a minimum validity of six months (it must also have at least 2 blank pages available). Passport must be signed. 3. One recent good quality passport type photograph of applicant, showing entire face (must be front view) in white background. Overall size of the picture must be at least 40 mm (1 9/6 inches) by 35 mm (1 3/8 inches). 

4. Copy of round trip ticket or signed letter by travel agency attesting to the acquisition of the ticket and informing confirmed round trip bookings. 

5. For non-Americans returning to the USA, copy of green card or valid American visa allowing for re-entry into the USA. For non-Americans without a green card or valid re-entry visa into the USA, valid visa to country of final destination after trip to Honduras (this requirement does not apply to applicants returning to country of citizenship). 

6. As applicable (i.e., for participation in athletic or artistic event/competition or for participation in scientific/academic seminar/conference), copy of letter by sponsors with detailed information on the event and conditions of attendance. ( Must send us proof of membership in the RED for AfroCarib Cup and copy of your application with attestation of payment ). When we receive you payment, we will stamp and photocopy a receipt of your payment for submission to the Consulate.

7. As applicable (i.e., if applicant traveled within the last 90 days to any of the following countries: Angola, Bolivia, Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Colombia, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ecuador, French Guiana, Gabon, Ghana, Gambia, Republic of Guinea, Liberia, Nigeria, Peru, Sierra Leone, Sudan, or Venezuela), yellow fever vaccination certificate. Please note that yellow fever vaccination is advisable if applicant's destination in Honduras 

8. As applicable, polio vaccination certificate (only for children between the ages of 3 months and 6 years).
