Atletico Lenca is a soccer team with a great mission. We want to follow the following dream for the next 15 years. Our goals are ambitious. Right now we have just moved from the Under 17 to the Liga Mayor. Most of our players are 18 years old. This fifteen year plan would mean the players would be 32 years old when we achieve our goal. But every step along the way will mean more publicity, more excitement, more training, more responsibility and more and more positive potential for our members sponsors. That would mean more times in the winners circle for our members sponsors. Here what we hope to achieve in the next fifteen years:

Winning the Intercontinental Cup is our dream. But the mission of Atletico Lenca is much greater. Here then is our mission statement. Atletico Lenca is dedicated to:
To serve as a role model for the youth of Intibuca
To demonstrate clean play, adherence to the rules of the game and good sportsmanship
To demonstrate the power of practicing for life
To show our young people the importance of peak performance at all time
To provide a model for soccer teams in Latin America In methods of soccer development
To lead in the field of soccer tourism in Latin America
To provide for the development of a stellar mountain soccer training facility in Honduras
To develop an excellent all weather, day/night soccer stadium in Intibuca
To support the Intibuca Youth Soccer Center by having the players serve as soccer mentors
To serve all the children of Intibuca by sharing soccer gear, playing areas and other resources for soccer development
To bring the children off the streets of Honduras into a youth soccer focused culture in the Intibuca Youth Soccer Center
