(He leaves the office.)
Alicia -- (to herself.) It's not over Mr. Sandoval. Not by a long shot. I intend to be a part of that great future you are planning for yourself. Our country needs your leadership and that of your family. I want to know more about that Soccer Tourism complex you are building.
I know you think I am out of reach. But that kind of thinking will not make me superrich. What you do not know is that because I am a Calderon I have always been taught that it was my right to have anything I wanted. And I want you and your future Mr. Sandoval. And I will have you.
(She picks up the phone and asks her secretary to call her friend Renaldo Nunez at his farm.)
Renaldo - Hello.
Alicia - Hello, this is Alicia.
Renaldo - What is going on? How is the computer center working.
Alicia - It is going very well, and there are more and more students every day. I am really enjoying my work.
Renaldo - What do you want, Alicia? I know how hard you are working. If you are spending time on the phone with me you need something.
Alicia - I just wanted to talk with you. But while we are on the phone, I need some information. There is a student I just taught named Roberto Sandoval. He works for the American company, Northern American Investments. He said he is going overseas to study as a CPA. I want to know where he is studying.
Renaldo - If he is your student, why don't you ask him?
Alicia - The term is over. It's too late. But I know you can find out for me. You know I've always helped you when I can. Now it's your turn.
Renaldo - I can. I'll call you and tell you tonight .
Alicia -- Thanks, Renaldo. I owe you one.
