Arizona Is Home To People From every country in the World - All Who Love to play Soccer. The Arizona/Mexico Youth Soccer Tournament Will bring Together Teams from Every Country in The World Who Now Live And Work in Arizona. We will be especially inviting teams from Mexico to participate as part of ISAI's cross cultural mission.
Because of our closeness to Mexico, most of the international teams will be coming from our closest neighbor to the South. We would like to create more friendships between Mexican soccer youths and soccer youths in the USA. This tournament will a first step in building friendship between Hispanic youth in the USA and Anglo youth. And we hope to begin a series of Arizona/Mexico tournaments, friendlies, camps and clinics to be held in both Arizona and Mexico. The soccer field will be a place where cross cultural interactions can begin which we hope will be the beginning of friendship.
Special Invitation will be sent to Western Hemisphere teams from Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Panama, Colombia, Venezuela, Argentina, Chile, Peru, Ecuador, Japan, South Korea, Hawaii and other countries that border on the Pacific Ocean.
Dr. Cross will be inviting her Honduras youth team, Club Deportivo Intibuca to enter the tournament as well.

The "Arizona/Mexico
Youth Soccer Tournament" an International Youth Soccer
Tournament, will take place from the 22, 23, 24 of April

2005, in
Arizona. Arizona is the cultural center of Latin Americans
from Mexico in the USA. It is also a cultural center for
people from the Caribbean, European countries as well as African
countries. Everybody's here and it is multicultural

The first game will be played on Friday the 22, of April, 2005.
This competition is being organized by the International Sports Adventure Institute and the It will demonstrate to the teams invited what the people of Arizona already know - we love soccer.
This tournament is designed to bring together for the first time, teams from Arizona and Mexico in a friendly tournament to develop closer friendship ties between our two countries, especially the states of Arizona and Sonora. We will bring together for the first time in Arizona, youth soccer athletes of every country that is represented in the population of Arizona. We will bring together youth from all the countries of origin presently living in Arizona, including those from Arizona and other states in the USA, to play in a friendly tournament.
Arizona is a center of multicultural origins in the USA. Not only do you find the native people born in Arizona with immigrants for just about every country in the world. Especially from Latin America. And most are from Mexico. And they are playing soccer.
Cultural activities For those living in Arizona from different ethnicities:
This tournament is first and foremost a soccer tournament. But in addition, there will be exhibits and booths displaying the cultures of the countries represented in the tournament. That would include dancing, music, art and other aspects of the different cultures.
The tournament is designed to enable youth of many countries of origin now living in Arizona to share their cultures as well as their love of soccer. It is especially designed to create friendships between Arizona youth soccer players and Mexican youth. These youth will get to know each other by playing soccer together.
This tournament will be for boys and girls in these groups

Each team will play one game each day.
The final game will be played on Sunday Morning, April 24, 2005, with the awards and awards banquet Sunday Night.
A number of other social activities will be on offered before and/or after games, so there will be no "dull" moments during the week.
The Finals will be played in Tucson, Arizona.
$375 Due with tournament application on or before February 28, 2005 - ($450 after February 28, 2005).
Arizona is a warm, safe, exciting place to visit with lots of activities for teenagers and adults to enjoy. We hope to see you in April 2005 in Arizona. And the weather should be warm and enjoyable.

TEAM SELECTION
Teams are selected on a first-come first-served basis with an attempt to balance the teams according to geography. The number of teams accepted will be limited to a total of 128 teams.
An acceptance and confirmation notice will be sent to each team not later than four weeks after receipt of a completed application form together with the Team Registration Fee and Referee Deposit. A full refund will be immediately made to any team not selected.
TEAM LEADER OR CAPTAIN
Your team must name one person directly connected with the team to act as its contact person prior to the tournament.
APPLICATIONS
The application deadline is February 28, 2005. No application will be considered unless accompanied by two (2) separate checks or money orders (the Tournament Registration Fee of US$375.00 and a Referee Deposit of US $325.00) payable to International Sports Adventure Institute. Make sure to enter the name of your team on the check(s) or money order(s).
HOUSING
We will be posting the names of hotels and motels which are cooperating in providing lower cost hotel rooms for players. In addition we are negotiating with local schools to be able to house players. A few homestays will be made available to younger players.
PARTICIPATION FEE PER PLAYER
The participation fee for each player is US$100. This participation fee includes welcome party, nightly activities, the closing party, trophies, medals and t-shirts.

APPLICATION PROCEDURES
USA and international teams must send the completed application forms & entry fees to The International Sports Adventure Institute, Inc. Honduran teams direct all requests for further information, applications and payment to the international representative, Dr. Carol Cross at honducopa@yahoo.com.
Teams will play in an age bracket consistent with the player's age at the time of the tournament.
GUEST PLAYERS
Teams will be allowed guest players per tournament rules:
1. Maximum of three (3) guest players allowed per team
2. Roster may not exceed 18 players, including guest players
3. Guest players must have credentials from the same seasonal year as the credentials of the team on which they participate.
Note: Guest Player Forms are available from the tournament upon request.
TRAVEL
All players should be listed on the official travel roster. Permission to travel must be received for all teams. Travel forms must be approved by state/national associations and submitted to the ISAI office, 6013 W. Monte Cristo, Glendale, AZ 85306. Application for VISA into the USA must be made early.
