Well, here's your chance to learn how to develop skills in Community Tourism and have fun at the same time.
This Novella is an interesting, interlocking series of love stories, family dramas and growth experiences. It is designed to be enjoyed as you learn about developing a Community Tourism Entrepreneurial Culture. It's written in understandable English.
It details the story about the Calderons, Sandoval, the Mirens, the Makaris, the Gonzales, the Brooks and others in this cyberspace country. It's a new form of learning called edutainment. It means you learn about business development while you enjoy a novella.
This learning system is designed for developing country entrepreneurs who live colorful, fun filled lives. It's called " The Passions Of Luis" because soccer is such a vital part of life in developing countries. The people in the novella are passionate, full of life and enjoy the experience of learning. They enjoy life and expect life to be a fulfilling, growth experience. As a result they enter into activities with gusto, enjoyment and full openness to life experiences.
This novella is based on people who I met during my 20 year visits to Honduras. Each character represents a friendship, a positive interaction. While living in Honduras, I slept in mud floored adobe homes and the homes of aristocrats. I've experienced every kind of food, caught a tropical fever across a river much like the Rio Blanco.
All in all, I found the people of Latin America to be wonderful, loving, caring, alive and totally nurturing. They brought me into their families and made me one of them. And these beautiful people are the people of Arboleña.
The Novella is designed to be readable, easily understood in digestible bits. Thus we seek to have a maximum of less than four screens of written dialog each day. We make it that way in order for your reading experience to be fun and easy.
To make this possible, each week we will post a new background for that weeks' Novella. Here you'll find out what our characters are thinking, what is happening in the situation. Reading the background is optional. But we want you to have the maximum pleasure in your Arboleña experiences.
Therefore the more you know and understand about Arboleña, about the characters and about life in Arboleña, the better you will enjoy.
Together we will explore the mistakes and problems as well as the successes as Alicia Calderon, the Arboleña aristocrat, drives development in her reach for super rich status. We will see that providing the basic needs of the poor need not change the social levels nor will it interfere with the life styles of the rich. Indeed development in Arboleña will enable the present aristocrats and elites to have an even more luxurious lifestyle.
Without fear of guerrillas, revolutions or coups. Arboleña is our vision of how a country. through Community Tourism based sustainable development, can meet basic needs, provide for the upward mobility drive of a growing middle class at the same time it retains the status and privileges of the elites.
The online drama begins with the romantic interaction between the aristocratic pure Spanish Alicia Calderon and her desire to marry the middle class rancher's son, Roberto Calderon.
