The key to creating sustainable Community consortiums is the development of means of rapprochement communication.
We Can Create A Peaceful World Through Rapprochement Communication Skills
There are many who want to hold us back from our evolutionary future. Our evolutionary future is the embedding of sustainability as the basic underpinning of every development project. They want to keep all of us apart because we have been born into different Mind Clones. They want us to move toward being negative Mind Clonish instead of moving positively along the Mind Clone Spectrum of Acceptance. They want to separate us instead of finding ways to bind us together.
The fact is our global way of life is evolving rapidly. We cannot even adjust to one change before the next one takes place. Our former way of life, with different Mind Clones living seperately is over forever. We are all coming together in real time. Those of us who want to practice Sports Adventure Tourism in a sustainable, responsible fashion are in conflict with those who want to "ruthlessly use" the environment as much as they want.
A clash of cultures, of ethnic groups, of different Mind Clones. It will not be long before could begin to have even more Mind Clone clashes. Those who wish to exploit our planet without restraint are as different from those of us who want sustainable development as a dinosaur is to a cheetah.
What happens when those who want to develop a Sports Adventure Tourism project on their own property are driven off by 4 wheelers who cut fences, trespass and destroy fragile habitats? Should we shoot trespassers?
We are going to need to create a new model for living together as we develop the Global SAT Economy so all our disparate Mind Clones learn to live together. We are going to need to create rapprochement. Here are the skills of Rapprochement Communication.
1) Leadership skills- develop ways to "Expand Permitteds" for all populations e
2) Written Communication skills - share the "Permitteds" in many ways so followers know what they are and how to achieve them - with facility in both written and
3) Spoken Communication - the ability to communicate in public speaking and interpersonal communication
4) Presentation Skills - Gain skills to train your community members in new, effective methods and techniques
5) Organization Skills - Learn fast ways to organize learning materials as well as processes for information transfer
6) Personal Growth Skills - Enable your employees to carry on lifelong programs of skills development to maximize your return on investment
7) Personal Character Skills - Staff develop persistence, learn to deal with adversity, and handle criticism so your community members has the mental toughness to propel your SATBI to maximum competitive advantage
8) Community Building Skills - Make your community programs and projects hum with motivation and higher productivity
9) Mind Clone Shifting - The ability to move along the positive end of the Mind Clone Spectrum of Acceptance
10) Native Speaker Fluency - The ability to communicate In The World Interface Language at the level of native speakers of the American English language
We are going to have to create consortiums and bring disparate Mind Clones together. We need to create a worldwide Expanding Permitted Culture that can eventually take our species to a sustainable world where all our basic needs are met. It's going to have to include many people with many different core values.
The most important thing is that the person has a right to exist even though he or she does not agree with us on many matters. Therefore it is our responsibility as leaders to create a framework in which all of us can live and be productive.
Any time you have two or more people discussing an idea or project or how to do something, each person is carrying two sets of values. Some values are negotiable and others non-negotiable.
A. Central Core Values are non-negotiable
B. Peripheral Values are negotiable
A.1 Central core values are inflexible and define who we are
B.1 Peripheral values are where flexibility occurs. We define how we could change and who we could become or what we could become
EXAMPLE: PAPER is a core value. Civilization demands paper; they want hard copy even off the Internet.
Non-Wood paper is a peripheral value; it is how you do it, which is different than saying you can't have paper at all.
A.2 Some Central Core value examples:
B.2 Peripheral values examples
The reason we need to know about the core and peripheral values is that when we pull together a consortium, the first thing we need to find out is what the core and peripheral values are of each person. We have to find a place of rapprochement of the peripheral values and not impinge upon the core values. The peripheral values are the negotiables which can be worked with so projects can proceed.
How do we develop programs for creating rapprochement among all our myriad Mind Clones? Please share any ides you have and we will post them on this website. Here is a vital key belief:
There is a commons, a place where everyone can work together. There is a common ground for agreement, a place to stand where peace can begin. I learn more from those who disagree with me. Those who think as I do don't jar my thinking as much.
We learn by creating a bond, strengthening that bond into a link, creating more and more links so we can see we are all one. Even as the Earth is one, so we all are one. Always there is SOME ground for agreement. Go into a meeting with the "I know, no matter what, there is some grounds for agreement" mind set. Then we can find it.
We accept the fact that no group, no industry, no organization, nor no individual can regenerate and create a sustainable Earth alone. It involves moving all of us to a mind set in which only sustainable development will be acceptable and the Herculean task of moving all Humans' core values to include sustainability as a basic definer of Human life.
Therefore, we postulate that every group must be drawn into many separate consortiums and ultimately into one consortium of consortiums through the Internet so that communication will be facilitated and effective.
It is vital that ecologically sound, sustainable development be a key part of the development of the world polyeconomy. Sustainability can only be attained and maintained by meeting the needs of all the players. These are some of the players whose needs must be met and who must be involved if we are to successfully meet the Sports Adventure Tourism Sustainability challenge and create a Global SAT Community.
Need a new soccer stadium in your community? Want to bring major league football to your city but can't get the bond issue passed? What about school board taxes? What about getting a green corridor for birds and wildlife? Maybe the horse community wants to establish a series of trails for their use.
Want to make a large scale tree planting project a part of your community? What about a light rail system? What happens when your community needs a new swimming pool, a new orchestra, a new facility for all the people? How do you get the people to work together and take ownership of it.
You do it through education, through the involvement of the people. You get the people involved in the eight step problem solving process. You achieve it through ownership - through getting people to buy in. You get the people of your community to feel a sense of belonging to the project. You create a team ownership/membership organization of dedicated people.
You have pep rallies, step by step guidelines and create a sense of shared achievements. And all this must take place in a high diversity environment. You need a system of diversity communication to bring all the people into ownership of the project.
The industries that must come together to create a sustainable Sports Adventure Tourism future includes:
