Dear Coach Of Potential AfroCarib2007 Team

Do You Have Players Who Are Good Enough To Play In Europe?

How many times have you looked at the soccer athletes playing in Europe in the English Premier League, the UEFA CUP, The Champions League or other interleague play? You say to yourself, "I’ve got players better than he is."

Then you look around at your life. Chances are you are the coach of a football club that plays mostly in your local area. Your team plays in your local community, and may even play within other cities in your country. Sometimes you get a rare opportunity for your team to play in tournaments in other countries on your continent.

But the fact is, your players are not getting exposed to international agents or in any way getting to be seen. You see, being a great soccer athlete is not about your player’s native ability. It is about their international exposure. It’s about your team’s presence on the world scene. And chances are your best players are not being challenged to "Peak Performance" every time they touch the ball.

If you have soccer players with international playing aspirations, they are going to need to be displayed on a website. They need to play in international tournaments and each of those tournaments needs to expose your team to potential sponsors, etc. You need a way to let others know who your team is and what you have to offer. That means you need to be involved with an organization dedicated to the elevation of AfroHeritage football and its promotion in Europe and the USA.

What Do Your Players Need To Make It To The World Class Level?

The fact is, if your players keep going to tournaments only in the continent, the chances of your best players getting out of your country before they are too old is practically nonexistent. To enter the world class soccer world, your players need these things

A) A personal promotion plan

B) Access to exposure internationally

C) To be continually promoted through the Internet

D) To master the skills of interpersonal relationships

E) The discipline to take racial slurs and ethnic abuse without showing any emotion

F) The ability to run while being attacked, to run with someone holding onto your shirt

G) The ability to smile when the referee makes a bad call

H) The ability to Never, Never lose your temper.

And most of all, they need to have the self esteem to understand they are not just soccer players, they are AfroHeritage Soccer Players.

Your AfroHeritage Soccer Player Are Already Leaders!

An AfroHeritage soccer player is a role model, a leader. Your players are already leaders because other young people are looking at them for guidance as to how to behave. If your players lose their tempers or kick the ball away in disgust, they will do that, too. If your players get angry when there is a bad call, they will, too.

As a coach or team manager of AfroHeritage footballers, your have an opportunity to help your players make a lot of money if they deploy the resources they need. But your players interpersonal and marketing skills need to be polished. Your players need to learn cross cultural interaction. They need to be able to interact with people they do not like in a friendly, amiable manner. If they are to attract the kinds of sponsors who can make their future bright, lucrative and pleasant, they are going to have to learn to get along with all kinds of people.

Your AfroHeritage Footballers Must Be Superior, Not Equal!

More important, your players must perfect your skills. The AfroHeritage player who is equal to a Caucasian player will be the one who is cut from the team. They must be good enough to be a star. It’s as simple as that, everywhere. But that is just the way it is.

When Joe Louis, the great American AfroHeritage boxer who became world champion, began fighting, he would always win the bouts. But the judges would give the fight to his opponent. Finally his manager said in frustration, "From now on, I want you to knock them out. No one can keep you from winning if you knock them out." Jackie Robinson, the first AfroHeritage baseball player in the major leagues, had to have better skills, be better mannered, and be able to take what was dished out.

That is why your players are expected to learn in soccer to put the ball in whatever square foot of the goal you select. That is why they're expected to practice for hours to be able to place the ball exactly where they want it. That is why they are expected to spend one hour a day playing with pain. Your players are expected to gain the skills to run down the length of a football field with someone holding their jersey. They need to practice seeing behind their back without turning their heads. They are expected to keep on in the face of pain without flinching. And they are never to lose their tempers, no matter what.

Are You Willing To Help Your Team Members Become Soccer Masters?

The AfroCarib2007 is more than just a soccer tournament. The PreTournament Coaches Clinic include training in the Soccer Masters program for three of your best players. That means these players reach their personal potential in their body, mind and spirit. I created the RED de AfroHeritage Footballers to create soccer leaders. The AfroCarib2007 is designed to enable players from Africa to discover players of AfroHeritage origin in the Western Hemisphere. But more importantly, African Soccer has developed in a different way than soccer in the Western Hemisphere. By bringing your team to play in the AfroCarib2007 your players will be able to compete with players who play a different style of soccer.

Frankly, not every African team is good enough to produce the kind of AfroHeritage soccer leaders I seek to create. Frankly, many of your players will start and not finish. I only want to create an football environment where the best:team will surface, the team with the ones who want to play in Europe, the ones who want to win the scoring competition, the ones who want to make it to the World Cup and win.

Playing In The Same Area Over And Over Again Does Not Prepare Your Players For The Next Level

Playing in African tournaments is how you build your skills. But frankly, it does not prepare you for the cross cultural environment in Europe and world class playing. By playing in the AfroCarib2007, you’ll interact with teams from Central America, South America and the Caribbean. It is invaluable exposure for your players.

Can Learning Only The African Style Of Play Make Your Players Able To Compete Against Latin American, European Or American Players When They Play In Europe

When you play only in Africa, your players never get to face the real enemy they will face when attempting to play in Europe. The fact is, the self esteem of your players is one of the most important weapons a player has when he has moved up a level. And meeting up with a style of place you have never encountered before. Many an AfroHeritage player from Africa has been destroyed because he had never had to play against a nonAfrican style of play. Your players need to know how to play against other styles of play.

How Will You Give Your Players Hands-On Exposure In Dealing With Other Cultures

I know your goals for your best players. You want them to reach the next level. But to get them to that level, they need to play against other type of players. They need to learn how to get along with people from other cultures. While the AfroHeritage players of the Western Hemisphere share the same blood, the cultures are very different. The tournament winner will be able to play against a team in the second division of Honduras’s professional league.

The Tournament’s Winning Team Will Be Invited With Free Team Fee To The "Copa Weshemisphere Amistad Adult Soccer Tournament"

The winner of the tournament will be invited to the USA The "Copa Weshemisphere Amistad Adult Soccer Tournament" an International Adult Soccer Tournament will take place from the 18-22 of November  2008 in Arizona. The winner of the AfroCarib2007 will receive not only a letter of invitation to come to the USA, but will not have to pay the team tournament application fee.

The Top Four Finishers Will Be Invited To The USA To Play In The "Copa Weshemisphere Amistad Adult Soccer Tournament"

The top four teams at the end of the tournament will be invited to the USA, the state of Arizona. The "Copa Weshemisphere Amistad Adult Soccer Tournament".
