EcoAgriAdventure Discussion Group Formed

In our world of growing populations, many communities and governments are seeking ways to drive economic development. Tourism is becoming the number one industry in the world. Tourism is seen as the answer to all the economic problems individuals, government and communities face, In order to maintain the agricultural and rural economies in our countries, tourism is moving to our rural areas. To get tourist to come and keep them coming, the environment must be preserved, even enhanced in your areas. To make the new push to tourism sustainable required a community.

The Discussion group, "EcoAgriAdventures" is an online resource for farmers, landowners, tour groups, business persons, government agencies, private consultants who are interested in sustainable tourism. You are invited to be a vital part of the transformation of agricultural lands and small communities toward sustainable development practices. EcoAgriAdventure combined sustainable agricultural tourism, ecotourism and Sports Adventure Tourism.

We expect the forum will be a springboard for the pursuit of innovative approaches to sustainable rural and urban tourism development. Because the success of the group will be a function of the involvement of its members. Dr. Cross invites anyone with an interest and/or expertise in any of the above EcoAgriAdventure areas to join the list. Due to the complexities of creating sustainable rural and urban development, we welcome input from environmentalists, tourism consutlants, tour guide, tour providers, government tourism agencies, engineers, businesspersons, investors, suppliers, development groups, and others with similar interests. Anyone who wishes to contribute to this very vital, important and fascinating topic are invited to participate.

Dr. Cross recognizes that EcoAgriAdventure is not the only system for creating a sustainable world. However, we feel it is an idea which can add tremendously to the well being of all LifeKind, EarthHumans and ultimately, the EarthHome, its limitations notwithstanding.
