At the Soccer Parents Club we see parents in a different light. It's true some parents are over involved in their children soccer experience. Some of them may even be trying to live out their own childhood fantasies of being a stat. Others may hope that soccer can be their child's ticket and therefore their ticket to being a celebrity.
However, that is a rare minority of soccer parents. Most soccer parents care, want to see their children achieve and are willing to give up many hours to give them the Power of Eyes.
And these are the soccer parents who join the Soccer Parents Club to share online ideas they have found that help to build their children's self esteem. They want to share what they have found and get new ideas on helping their soccer athlete improve their skills.
The Friends of The Soccer Parents Club
is being developed as an informal group of friends on the Internet who make the
information known about the Soccer Parent Club resources to their fellow soccer
parents who have children in soccer programs anywhere in the world.
How can you do this? First of all you have to believe that the Soccer Parents Club is of value. Do you believe in what we are doing? Review the whole set of linked pages by clicking on the links at the top of the page. Think about the things we are trying to do. Then decide if you want to be a part of this. If you do then, take action.
It's very simple. Just place this at the bottom of your email as part of your signature.
I've found a resource that is designed just for soccer parents. It's called the Soccer Parents Club. It's free. Anyone can sign up online by emailing to sfl@satglobal.com.
Or you can go the website of the Soccer Parents Club.
That's all. I would appreciate your emailing me and letting me know you have sent it out to a friend or fellow soccer parents.
The soccer parent who recommends the most people to join the Soccer Parents Club each month will receive a free "Celebrate Your Soccer Athlete" T shirt. Simply email us every time you recommend someone and give us their email address so we can enroll them online on the Yahoo group page.
The reason we have the Soccer Parents Club Yahoo group moderated is to avoid any kind of adult posts, or profanity of spam onto this list. This is a list of soccer parents to share their problems, successes and needs. It may that some young people under 18 might join because they play soccer. We must protect them from seeing profanity or any kinds of negative input. As a result, I am personally reading all posts before they go up.
Please join with me to make this character building program available to all soccer parents on the internet.
Thank you.
