We all believe in the wonderful positive effect soccer has had in the lives of your children. Soccer for Life is leading the way in sharing the beautiful game with the poor children of Honduras. We have already shipped many boxes of collected uniforms to Honduras but the need is great. In La Esperanza, 450 boys are playing soccer with the Liga Menor. But there is no soccer program for girls. And there are thousands of kids in this one community that would love to play soccer.
Chances are your closets, garages and basement have old soccer uniforms, soccer cleats, shin guards, soccer socks and perhaps even a net or two. But how can we get the message out and get other soccer parents, coaches and teams involved? We are in need of a critical mass of soccer donors to enable us to give soccer to the 5000 children in La Esperanza alone who want to play soccer. We need YOU to get the ball rolling in your area.
A key project of Soccer For Life is the Honduras Youth Soccer Program which includes a soccer gear donation project and the Youth Soccer Leaders Program. Soccer for Life is working with the Liga Menor de Futbol Intibucana to develop the Honduras Youth Soccer Center. You are invited to take a look at some Scenes of Youth Soccer in Intibuca, photos of youth playing soccer in Intibuca using uniforms collected by Soccer for Life and shipped to Honduras. We are building the Intibuca Youth Soccer Center as a residential soccer academy and complex.

Conclusion: You can change the lives of children in Honduras with your used soccer gear. Want to ensure that these deserving youth get a change to play the beautiful game?
Then it is up to those of us who are involved with soccer and see the power that giving can provide to our privileged youth to promote and publicize the Honduras Youth Soccer Program which includes a soccer gear donation project and the Youth Soccer Leaders Program in our the local area. If several hundred people who believe in the soccer gear donation project's potential for impacting the lives of these youth would develop similar outreaches, thousands and boys and girls in Honduras would be able to play in organized soccer programs by the year 2010.
