Skills For Players, Teams and Coaches"
This short Honduras Youth Soccer Leaders Tournament Team and Visa Application is
designed from teams who want to assure they are able to attend the .The
Youth Soccer Leaders Tournament in Honduras in July
2008. The "The
Youth Soccer Leaders Tournament in Honduras" an
International Youth Soccer Tournament will take place from
July 11,
2008 to July 20, 2008
in La Esperanza, Honduras. La Esperanza is the training center of mountain
soccer where soccer players develop stamina, fantastic legs and strength.
One week of training in these mountains will start your players on a lifetime of
conditioning and development that will stand you in good stead in the world
soccer arena. The first game will be played on Saturday, July 12, 2008. We have devised this new short application for teams who want to ensure
they are able to play in this historic tournament.

** Destination Visas Must be affixed to your passport in
order for you to obtain transit visas. Please complete and send in the above
application with visa fees as soon as possible. Arrangements are being made for
the Embassy of Britian or Spain to affix the visas to the passports. You will
receive instructions on which embassy and airline you are to use once visa
arrangements are made. Because of the time constraints, please submit your visa
application and fees as soon as possible to allow enough
time.
NO VISAS ARE REQUIRED FOR TEAMS AND
PLAYERS FROM THE USA
This short application process is necessary due to
the number of visas that need to be processed for the tournament. To use this
short form - complete is, send in the team application fee and $175 per visa
application for each player. As soon as we receive these fees, we send them an
official invitation from the Liga Menor de Futbol Intibucana.
The rest of the fees and forms( participation fee of
$450 per player for room, board, transportation within Honduras, trophy, etc)
required can then be submitted upon your acceptance. You must complete all the
following and send to:

$375 Due with tournament application on or before May 15 , 2008 - ($450 after
May 15, 2008).
You may pay through PayPal or by sending:
a) Travelers checks denominated in US dollars
through DHL
b) direct bank transfer(email for bank transfer
information)
c) Western Union addressed to Dr. Cross
No application will be considered unless
accompanied by the Tournament Registration Fee of US$375.00 and the payment of
the Visa Application fees per player, coach or companion
is $175, which includes preparation of VISA application and presentation to
Honduran Immigration office. No
Visa fee required from US teams.

The Tournament Committee will post a list, on the
website, each week of teams entered into each tournament. If you do not see your
team name on the list within two weeks of sending in your application, you
should contact the State Office to verify.
According to the Soccer For Life Risk Management Policy,
Disclosure Forms must be on file for all persons working with the team to
include coach, assistant coach, trainer and team manager and these individuals
must have and display the blue Risk Management Badge to be on the sideline
during the competition.

Soccer for Life, Inc., is an Arizona not for
profit organization dedicated to youth empowerment, youth involvement and youth sports for personal development.
In support of this mission, Dr. Carol Cross, Founder and International
Director of Soccer for Life invites you to participate in our programs in
Honduras. We are working to create confluence between youth in
developed countries including the USA, Canada, European countries, Japan,
Taiwan, South Korea, New Zealand, Australia, South Africa and youth in
developing countries. Confluence or moving together alongside is one
of the most pressing needs of the 21st century. Young people growing
up today are going decide if it is war or peace. They will decide to
create friendships with those from other cultures or to act like enemies.
In addition, they are going to decide if our world will be green or brown,
hot or normal. Through Soccer For Life, our youth can build
friendships, create new ideas, develop projects to fight global warming and
change the world into a better place.It is our
feeling that everyone is seeking community, structure, meaning an a
Superordinate Goal. We consider these the requisite for a life lived for
sharing and receiving alike, supporting and being supporting, offering
comfort and being comforted. We call our "Personal Contribution To
Life".
Soccer for Life is seeking your help to develop the Intibuca
Youth Soccer Center where intend to create the Soccer For Life
Ecolodge for sponsors, donors and patrons of Soccer For Life can come and
relax and regenerate. We are putting together a volunteer program,
fund raising kits and all the support you need to make through Personal

Setting Up the Intibuca Youth Soccer
Center
Soccer For Life is planning to set up the Intibuca Youth
Soccer Center for our teams we will be developing. Because of the fact that many
of our Youth-At-Risk have not yet learned the social manners of those in
mainstream youth leagues and soccer clubside, we feel that thee youths should
play among themselves until they gains better social skills.
We will be teaching soccer skills, social
skills and character skills such as teamwork, dealing with anger and self
control.
You are Invited To Participate
In order to do this project, it will be
necessary to create a supportive community. That is why we are inviting you to
become a Soccer Youth Supporter.

The donated items must be itemized on the Donation Invoice
Sheet. A copy must be placed in each box as well as
a separate copy must be sent to Dr. Cross. Make sure when you send her the
envelope of the donation sheets, you tell her it is for the Soccer for Life
Donation project.
Soccer For Life Has A New North American
Director To Head The Soccer Gear Donation Project,
Chris Watkins. He is a home schooled student in Florida who has just
finished a year in Honduras as an Intibuca Soccer
Volunteer. Chris first visited
Intibuca when he was six
years old. Chris is a soccer referee, and specializes in Goal Keeper
training. Chris is considered a "geek or techie' and is called the
"Gentle Giant" because he is over 6 feet tall at 17 years old and also
because of his gentle style of coaching of young players. Chris is an
avid gamer, operates through his own website the
MOTILES Gaming nexus under the name
of magelord-keeper. His goal in life is
to be a video game developer. He is presently the "go to" guy for any
computer or technology needs of Soccer for Life.
He has learned a lot in Honduras, playing both with teams and in the
streets, including what is called the
Honduran Way of Soccer. He is presently playing in the Liga Mayor
team Atletico Lenca which is registered with FENAFUTH. He has been
asked to tryout for the second division professional team Atletico
Esperanzano in January. He is helping to develop the
Honduran Soccer Mastery program for the
Ligas de la Comunidades Intibucanas. He will be interested in
communicating by email with gamers in the Far Cry world, Battlefield 2 world
and the Guild Wars world. Chris is an important part of distributing
your soccer gear in Honduras through the
donation concursos he runs. Just ship
