One of the lowest cost entry into Sports Adventure Tourism is the development of soccer camps in your country that market to North America. Soccer is the fastest growing youth sport in North America. But because their is no true soccer tradition in North America, North American youth are being trained by fathers, and other coaches who simply do not understand how the game is really played.
They read books and go on websites. But they still do not have the true know-how for how to actually do soccer. So by creating a soccer camps and soccer tours in your country.
In most developing countries, everyone already plays soccer. Often you know how to play, but how can you develop a business with soccer? Usually there’s no money in soccer in your country. Why many of your national team's star players only gets something like $50 per game. And some countries couldn’t even pay the national team to play in the World Cup qualifier. How can you make a living doing this?
North Americans make a lot money in soccer and they don’t even really know how to play the game. Some parents spend 25,000 dollars and more per year sending their children to soccer camps, hiring personal trainers, etc.
Your country can cash in on this program by working with ISAI in their Turnkey Soccer Camp program. It includes everything. Once you purchase it includes everything you need. We have to supply our own soccer fields and land. And we arrange for the players to stay with local people. We profit and the people who provide housing also profit. and then the people with restaurants also profit. Also the people who sell arts and crafts.
One unique part of this is the option to become an intern at the ISAI Soccer Camps in Honduras. These camps will be open for people to come to for training in how to put together your own camps. It’s everything you could ask for if you want hands on support in developing your own Soccer Camp. Every summer it's offered as well as a Sports Tourism Intensive/English programs in Honduras.
The course teaches both English and Sports Communication strategies. And they offer all kinds of support for building an Sports Adventure Tourism business on their website.
In the summer of 2004, ISAI is working in a joint venture with the Grupo de Deportes y Turismo, S de RL to develop a series of Soccer Camps. These unique international soccer camps in Honduras will serve as in-service training programs for the Soccer Camp Turnkey Program.
Participants will learn all the skills needed to operate an international soccer camp. Not only will they be able to operate a camp in their country after this experience, but they will become part of the ISAI/SAT marketing network.
They will receive for continuous marketing support and be eligible for a many opportunities for training, participation in tournaments and travel to the USA. In addition, they will be able to visit other ISAI projects in Latin America.
In service training in marketing, organization, planning, budgeting, scheduling, website use, email marketing, coaching, sports program development, sports adventure tourism.
Includes home-stay, in country travel and insurance. We will pick you up at the airport in Tegucigalpa. Intern is responsible for international travel, all needed inoculations.
This program is offered in one week increments. An intern can stay as many weeks as desired. Interns coming in early July will be involved in camp set up, management. The camps will begin in late July and early August. It will be a complete hands-on Soccer Camp Development learning program.
