Life in Latin culture center around the weekly soccer games in the great stadiums like the one in Mexico City which seats 115,000 or the one in Brazil that seats over 150,000, Yet Hispanic soccer still fills the lives of the Hispanics in the USA.
Maybe here the games are played on school playgrounds and in parks to only the families of the players, but thousands play and watch every weekend. You see fathers with children of 16 months teaching them to handle the ball. It is THE game. And if you want to market to this culture, you have to get into the game as well.
Atletico Lenca soccer team is in Honduras, a low cost country, our budget for our team is about $350,000 per year. We have our own bus, we play in and maintain the local stadium, we pay our players much better than standard wages in Honduras, we work in the community with youth soccer programs.
We concentrate on obtaining quality players, and focus on drawing our players from the Lenca Indian community, who are stronger, faster and have more endurance than most other ethnic groups of Honduras.
Atletico Lenca is now in the WesHemisphere Soccer Friendlies program and with that will come more publicity and international attention. WesHemisphere Soccer Friendlies will be Webcast worldwide and our team will get more and more recognition. In other words, if you come to one of our games and stand in the Winners Circle you will be seen around the world by soccer fans everywhere.
Our goal is to develop a web casting program and obtain the equipment for online web casting of all games to the Hispanic market in the USA.
Our playing season is from August to March each year. Your membership/sponsorship extends for 12 months of one year.
