Only The Elite AfroHeritage Footballers Will Be Selected!

In June 2005, ISAI will be opening the La Ceiba Football Academy in La Ceiba, Honduras.  This will be  an elite Football Academy,  a football finishing school for elite players from Africa, the Caribbean Islands, Central and South America. The summer program begins in June. It will be held in La Esperanza, Honduras. The full nine month program begins in September

This will be an intensive full time Football academy. There will be three player categories. In the full time residential academy, players will work on football 16 hours per day.  In addtion there will be a commuter program and a part time program. The full time residential program desctibed here will include constant practice,  morning, afternoon and evening with games on Saturday and Sunday. If you are ready to dedicate your life to football, we'll help you reach your potential.  We will help you reach your potential, but the academy will be run like a military boot camp. There will be intensive conditioning, from the Olympic Development Program to military like discipline. We will be offering two one month programs during the summers.

Anyone not following the rules will be expelled.

The school will not only teach you football skills, team skills, anger management, you will receive a football career management program. We will evaluate you for your best football future. If you have the capability for playing in a US college, we will help you get a scholarship. If you are good enough to play professionally in Europe, we'll make sure you get that opportunity as well.  

If your skills are in management and leadership, we'll give you the skills you need to start your own football academy.  If you have the capability to be a good coach, we'll give you the training you need. If you choose to be a referee, we'll see that you get that training as well.

You Will Become A Member Of Our Worldwide Community

Once you enter our academy you become a part of our family. You will be invited back for reunion, special training and if needed, we will send people to your country to help you with  football programs you are developing in your country.  We are willing to join with you in developing your own academy or camps.

Through this cross fertilization, we seek to create football players who play at their peak level each time they enter the field.  A key component is our emphasis on the inner athlete.  Our inner athlete emphasis will include the development of cross cultural communication strategies for our players. We expect to have football camps in both Africa and Latin America and enable our players to experience both these vital styles

By teaching cross-cultural communication methods, we will enable any AfroHeritage player in the Western Hemisphere to tap into all the football traditions and greatness of our worldwide football culture.

Additionally we will integrate the spirit, which is what really defines the peak performing athlete.  Thus we focus on developing character or inner athlete spirit, in addition to the development of physical and mental skills.  The emphasis on the inner athlete will lead to Peak Performance. Peak Performance, through Football Mastery means making each practice one of skill enhancement.  How does a Football Master play the game?

They bring to the table Body + Mind + Spirit skill sets so they:

a)  know how to play football well by constantly upgrading body skills;

b) understand mentally how to develop and follow a game plan and;

c)  constantly work inwardly to develop the self esteem to play to their mental and physical capability. 

Financial Services for Academy Members

In addition, we do not like to see former football athletes end up after their playing years without financial resources, insurance or other resources to live well after their performing years.  Because we see the importance of these athletes preparing for their post playing years, we have arranged for a financial planning service to be a part of our Football Academy.   

Competitive level football athletes need to begin early planning for their financial future. Chances are whether they want to play at the college level or want to become professional athletes, referees or coaches, finances will be an important part of it.  No athlete can afford to concentrate solely on the football skills.  Every athlete needs to begin early learning how to invest money, plan for there future, protect themselves against possible injury and make sure that they have a good life after their playing days are over.

Daily Football Schedule

As you can see, this new football learning program is not just about learning the physical skills of football. This program is designed to develop Football Masters, those who have complete control of their body, mind and spirit. We create leaders who can get along with anyone in the world. We include character building, communication skills, personal interaction skills as well as the physical skills of playing football.  

You will learn to play at your best with players hanging on to your jersey, while being kicked, while being elbowed.  You will learn to smile at racial slurs, insults and being spit on.  To play at the highest level, an AfroHeritage footballer will have to deal with racists, with unfair referees and bad situations.  Only the very best, the strongest mentally and physically can make it to the top.  And some who get there can't stay there because they have no control of their words and actions.  If that is you, you will change or you will not be able to be a part of this elite program. Your academy team will play in the annual AfroCarib Cup each year.

The La Ceiba Football Academy Is A Fee Based Academy

Date of Charter Program

• Summer Intensives June 1, 2005 August 2005

• Nine Month Program - September 1, 2005 - May 31,  2006

Eligibility

Males (16 to 25 years). Females (16 to 25 years). Individual and team applications accepted. Goalkeepers get special attention. Send a video along with resume of your football experience.

Nine Month Program US$16,000

If You Qualify For The Scholarship, Nine Month Program Will Be $8000 plus cost of VISA.

The La Ceiba Football Academy Is A Fee Based Academy

This is a fee based academy and soccer club. That means you pay to enter and be a student.  In order to come you must pay a $1000 application fee as well as $175 for visa fee.  The yearly fee for the academy is US$16,000.  The only exception is the futbol intern program which is open only to a few in the second year. There are no exceptions.  We intend to take our team to the Intercontinental Cup which is very expensive. We only want players who can pay their way for the unique training and special diets we will be employing.  We are developing our own fish pond to produce fish for daily fish supplement development.  We have our own proprietary training system and our coaches are paid by us.  We do not have government supplementation as this is a private academy as well as the team we own.    In order to get your visa and come to Honduras by September 1, you will need to get your application in as soon as possible.

Please send the application fee of $1000 plus the $175 for the visa by Western Union within the next week to me in the States. Send it to Fry's Supermarket, 59th Ave and Thunderbird, Glendale, Arizona 85306. I wish to get your visa application through the Honduran Consulate. Otherwise I will have to wait until July 15 when I arrive in Honduras.

Time is very short so please get the application, application fee and visa fee in to me as soon as possible.   The complete funds for the academy must be paid to us in Honduras by August 15 for you to enter. I want you to be a part of this elite academy. I have a young Honduran team called Atletico Lenca which has as its goal to go to the Intercontinental Cup in 15 years. The problem with this team is while the Lenca Indians are fast, they are small. I want to bring in larger, stronger, AfroHeritage players to be a part of this team. There are many AfroHeritage athletes in Brazil, Colombia. We will need African players to enable us to defeat teams like RIver Plate, Boca Juniors, Santos of Brazil, Once Caldas. Therefore we will be seeking players of Afroheritage origin from the La Ceiba Academy and AfroCarib Cup.

Applications can be sent by email. However it is more secure to send APPLICATIONS ACCOMPANIED BY PAYMENT.  SENDING APPLICATIONS AND PAYMENT BY DHL IS PROBABLY YOUR BEST OPTION. Or scan them in and send by email.

Note that your bank will charge you a fee for making this kind of transaction. This transaction fee must be paid by the party making the transaction, and not subtracted from the amount being transferred to the AfroCarib Cup, La Ceiba Football Academy, RED de AfroHeritage Footballers, ISAI or CODET. This is for wire transfers only, do not use direct deposit because we will have no way of tracking your payment.

In order for your Academy application to be processed, a $1000 deposit with your short application and your visa fee of US$175 must be received by the ISAI,. If you are accepted, you will receive an official Letter of Acceptance.

Once you are accepted you will receive your preliminary package which will include your visa.
