Landowners, setting up your Rural Agroindustrial
Center (RAIC) is your
route to profit from the agricultural and forest wastes in your
country. We are
very interested in working with your group to create a high
profit, as well as an environmentally sound, sustainable Rural
Agroindustrial Center (RAIC) in your country.
Rural AgroIndustrial Centers (RAICs), a multimodule system for rural agroindustrial development. RAlCs are agroindustrial manufacturing complexes that are located in rural area and focus on creating employment and generating prosperity in these rural areas by establishing a wide variety of manufacturing projects. Products are manufactured from Leucaena and other plants mixed with agroresidues from farms and plantations. For example, some of the products that could be manufactured in a RAIC include livestock feed, building materials, fuel briquettes, organic fertilizers, dried and processed food, canewood products such bamboo and rattan crafts as well as a wide variety of raw agricultural crops that can be processed and have value added.
RAICs will take many forms, according to Dr. Carol Cross. For example, here in Honduras, we are designing a MiniRAIC. It consists of processing modules made up of two food crops, two industrial crops and Leucaena We are also negotiating to create a large scale RAIC in Latin America which will consist of 10 modules, with a completion cost of US$400,000,000. RAICS can be built from the ground up with minimal input. Indeed we can help a group set up a MiniRAIC for as little as US$50,000.
RAICs will draw upon surrounding satellite farms in a large radius. When the RAICS are fully operational, they will provide employment so people will not have to move to the cities and live in squalor. RAICs can enable the farmers in a region to add value to their crops before they export or sell them locally.
A vital component of most RAICs will be the use of Leucaena as a multipurpose raw agricultural material for producing a wide variety of products. Leucaena is ideal because everyone can profit from livestock feed and particle board to NONWOOD paper and oil sorbents production.
Due to the multitude of requests for these RAICs, we have had to establish a procedure to quickly evaluate the quality of respondents and the true capacity and interest in developing a large-scale, long-term project. We have prepared a book, "You Can Profit from a RAIC", with over 20 pages of selection criteria questions as well as pages showing original concepts of how a RAIC can be developed in your country.
"You Can Profit from a RAIC" includes all the forms for you to complete in order to be considered for a RAIC support package as well as a graphic description of RAIC modules. It describes different kinds of processing plants and information on how you can qualify for both the technical and financial assistance we offer and is available for US$50. Make sure to take a look closely at this material before making your decision.
A RAIC can be developed in stages, the second and following production units being put in place from the profits of the previous units. We offer assistance and support each step of the way, define what is appropriate to begin with according to your potential supplies and investment, source appropriate equipment and technical expertise as defined, as well as financial assistance. Here in Honduras, we are beginning our RAIC with a livestock feed project which combines Leucaena with AgroResidues, a silk flower factory, a cut flower plantation and two handicraft production centers. In addition, we will combine it with a soccer project.
Please note, you can begin a RAIC with our sponsorship if you have as little as US$100,000 to invest. Of course, if it proceeds as we think it can, ultimately you may head a consortium that owns and operates one or more $400 million dollar RAICS in your country. It all depends upon your access to resources (land, political contacts, original investment, etc.) in your country. Your country can be dotted with RAICs in the next 20 years and you can be owner or shareholder in all of them.
If your application shows merit and potential for you to begin a RAIC, and we begin working together, the $75 will be refunded. Send US$75 for "You Can Profit from a RAIC" today.
Sincerely,
Carol Cross, Ph.D.
Director
To find out more about how your country can
A RAIC can be your way to create wealth thorough sustainable agriculture, sustainable forestry and rural agroindustrial development. There are as many ways to develop RAICS as there are modules.
If you have a large budget and money is no object, ISAI will work with you on a consultancy basis to develop a full on-site feasibility study. If on the other hand, you have a budget constraint and are willing to work, we will work with you to develop an Interactive Prefeasibility where you will do the actual site work in your country and we will perform all analysis here. If you want to create a RAIC that will cost no more that $500,000, you may want to use our Interactive RAIC Consultancy program.
Do you have land that could be converted into a Rural Agroindustrial Center? Do you produce large quantities of commodity material such as sugar cane bagasse, wheat straw, oat straw, rye straw, or grass straw (called agroresidues)? Is there abundant banana waste or other fruit waste? Do your crop lands bring you very low return per hectare? Can you consider developing a RAIC on your land to convert the products you are selling as low cost commodities on the world market into value added products you can sell within your country and internationally for a higher profit? Is your farm centrally located? Is it on a river, or highway? In your local area, are there other farms that can serve as satellite farms for your RAIC storing sugar cane, cotton, wheat, rice, oats, corn, banana or Leucaena? Can you develop a Leucaena plantation (Yes if you have grown cotton or okra) on your farm to use as a raw material to be combined with agroresidues for livestock feed and other products? Are there large numbers of unemployed people in you area? Have many of your campesinos left the land and gone to the cities seeking work?
As a landowner, you are in a prime position to develop a RAIC on your land. If all you have is the land and no financial resources to develop it, your land can serve as your equity in a RAIC corporation to be created in your country. LPS will help you find the needed RAIC partners, suppliers, investors and entrepreneurs - organizers to share in your RAIC's development in your country.
LPS will work side by side with you to develop your RAIC as an environmentally sound, productive addition to meeting the basic needs of the people of your country and of the world.
Connect with Dr. Carol Cross to find out how you can develop your own high profit RAIC.
