Is the volunteer program for you? This program is designed to create a true community for the young people of Intibuca through soccer. That means that we want to do more than just coach a few kids in playing soccer. We want to build responsible young people, to empower them through soccer.

You Will Receive Recognition Both From Staff And From The Feedback You Get From The Kids

We believe in the power of recognition and use is extensively with our volunteers and our children. You will gain the skills of giving recognition that will enable you to achieve success in your family, job and community. In addition you will take home a recognition package to use later back home in your private and business life. Why do we focus so much on recognition as part of your skills you get?

Soccer For Life Has A New North American Director To Head The Soccer Gear Donation Project, Shin Fujiyama. He is a student in Virginia who is already involved in volunteering in Honduras with Washington Overseas Missions and Hondukids. Soccer Gear Donation Program Links

The Intibuca Soccer Volunteer programs are Adminstered by CODET, S de R L, an Intibuca based sustainable development organization. CODET has as its goal the empowerment of the youth of Intibuca through soccer. 10 percent of all revenues from these vacations are dedicated to the building of the Intibuca Youth Soccer Center. An additonal ten percent of therevenues go to the Honduras Youth Soccer Project, with its goal the opening of youth soccer in Intibuca to the estimated 10,000 youth living in the hills of Intibuca. CODET revenues will be devoted to building a soccer stadium and state of the art mountain training facility to be used by all the youth of Intibuca without cost.
