RE: Letter of Invitation

Dear Manager,

Thank you for your email and your desires to participate in this tournament. Your players will not only have the opportunity to play in Honduras but will gain the opportunity to learn more about our culture. We are looking forward to our players having the same opportunity.

This competition is organized with the purpose that boys participate in the ages  U14, U15, U17, U19 and U21 between soccer players in your country and from Honduras. All teams are guaranteed a minimum of 4 games. This is the first of an annual series of tournaments. We are inviting 32 teams to this tournament.

You and your players are invited to enjoy this fabulous tournament spending unforgettable moment during 10 days of soccer in La Esperanza. La Esperanza is located in the temperate high mountains. The state of Intibuca is considered the capital of the Lenca Indians and your team will have an opportunity of getting to know their customs, beliefs, ritual dances, autochthonous music, eat typical foods as well as see some of the varied flora and fauna of Central America.

Honduras is a soccer country. You get a chance to interact with the other African teams as well as Honduran teams to know the Honduran culture. Our organizing personnel of the tournament has been devoted entirely to assure a pleasant experience for your team. Our goal is to generate a competitive tournament and facilitate cross cultural friendship and learning through soccer.

Each player and trainer will receive a special souvenir of the tournament and the program. Players who reach the finals and their trainer will have a special medal. The first and second place will receive a wonderful trophy. Also, each player of the team that obtains the first place and his trainer will receive a Champion’s T-shirt. Finally, the winning team of the tournament will be given a special gift from our patron of the tournament.

Be part of this exciting sport activity!!!! Bring your team to the "Lenca Homelands of Honduras in November 16-25, 2007. If your team accepts our invitation, we will greet you with open arms. Your group is certain to have a chance to play hard with 10 days of soccer and fun. We are sure that you will win enough games to make your team happy they came.
