About Membership in the RED For Tournament and Friendly Participants. Many Benefits Offered to members. CLICK HERE TO JOIN.
It is said that a wave of energy from the jumping, cheering, shouting and support for football teams flows through the stands of the football stadiums of the world. Many of the fans of football do not live lives of luxury in their own countries. Many of them work in the fields, are campesinos and work the entire week waiting for the release and the joy of experiencing the wave of energy from their fellow football aficionados. That is why we are creating the RED de AfroHeritage Footballers. We have elected Hector Meza as Coaching Director and Advisor to the RED. We understand the power of football in your lives. We understand the need for the flow experience. And so we are seeking to develop a football stadium where you can go and play and have fans to cheer on the players. We seek to create a worldwide AfroHeritage Football Culture. We want to serve as the facilitator for the development of football as the Tricontinental cross-cultural communication medium through football. Football can be the bonding and linking force that can eventually lead to a united AfroHeritage football culture. Our role is to facilitate football focused communication methods for every person in the Western Hemisphere. Only through communication can we develop a Tricontinental wide football culture. We invite you to use these resources and join with us in unifying our Hemisphere through football. The Worldwide AfroHeritage Football CommunityIn Africa, the Caribbean, Central and South America, AfroHeritage athletes play football every week. Every week these athletes play but get no recognition for their goals, their saves and their excellent play. No one sees their picture in the papers or reads about their exploits. There are no fan clubs or adoring youths asking for their autographs. Yet these Footballers play the game with the same persistence and dedication of those in the top echelon of football. How The Red Expects to Serve The AfroHeritage Football CommunityThis RED de AfroHeritage Footballers aims to change all that. Every week we will print and publish the statistics of locally played football games. We will share this with the community in a free online pictorial newsletter, published in both English and Spanish. The newsletter well also serve as a bilingual learning vehicle, offering both Spanish and English version of the stories of these athletes. Scholarship Programs and Marketing SupportWe are looking for talented AfroHeritage Footballers. We'll help you get into college in the USA and into teams in Europe if you have what it takes. The fact is raw talent will not take you to the next level. You need to be groomed for success, to learn more than just the ability to kick the ball. We will be opening a soccer academy in La Ceiba, Honduras where we will be grooming our AfroHeritage Footballers for entry into colleges in the USA and for entry into European football. The Red will also be supporting Soccer For Life, a non profit organization dedicated to enabling all the youth of the Western Hemisphere an opportunity to play the beautiful game. Reporters/writers wanted on every football team in the valley. Send in your photographs, your stats on your teams performance every week. We can't pay you but you will get a byline. Artists are also sought for the best football action drawing of the week. There is one other aspect of this. Once we get a football stadium, we will be developing a professional level football team in Honduras. Where will we find the players for this team? It will be from the members of the RED de AfroHeritage Footballers. Here are some of the columns we plan to offer in each issue here on this website: We Want To Know Your TeamsWe are seeking to list all the AfroHeritage football teams in Africa, the Caribbean and Latin America. We are interested in both youth and adult teams. There are African teams, Central American teams, Caribbean Islands team, South American teams. You all play world class football in your country's tradition. We want to know you and your teams for several reasons - we are seeking to develop a football facility here in the valley to support the international football community in Honduras. We believe that a 13,000 seat football stadium could be developed there that would support your teams for friendlies, camps, tournaments, all to showcase your players for world football markets. In addition, we want to assist your teams in sports marketing and the development of sponsorships. The international football community, led by AfroHeritage football aficionados and players are a viable market place for firms seeking emerging markets. We see your potential and see that what you are doing is a vital part of our goal to see AfroHeritage football become a football culture. One of our projects will be proposing is a sports passport - so athletes can travel freely within the hemisphere to play sports. Our mission is to bring your football players the recognition and support they deserve. There are many national level, even international football players playing on school playgrounds without any support. Go To Top of Index List Your Team hereWe want to list your teams here. There are players from their national teams who may even have played in the World Cup. We want to know about you and share your story with the AfroHeritage football community. Go To Top of Index Teams Looking For PlayersMany time because of the lack of communication among AfroHeritage teams, teams may be in need of a specific player. What if your goalie goes back home? What if you need defenders to fill out your squad? Where do you find these players? We want to post the needs your team has for players. Just send it in with your name, phone number and the name of your team. Go To Top of Index Players Looking For A TeamWhat if you have just come here from Zimbabwe? Or Ghana? You want to join a team. But you don't know what teams you could find. What are your capabilities? What is your record and playing level? There may be one or more teams looking for just what you have to offer. Here we will post your name, position, record, level of expertise with your phone number and email address. That way teams can find you. Go To Top of Index Photo gallery - KeepersThe heart of a football team is the keeper. Keepers are the coach on the field. They have to keep communicating with the teams, especially when the other teams gets a free kick or corner kick. He is the person who distributes the ball, does the goal kicks, and when the ball comes back to him, decides to kick it down field or kick it to his players. We want to celebrate these keepers who sacrifice their bodies every time they stand in the goal. Email us the photographs or send them by mail to us. Go To Top of Index Reporters NeededHow will we find out who are the best strikers, defenders or keepers? We are going to need the support of the international football teams and players. We need a reporter on each team who is willing to record the goals, the saves, the shots on goal. We need YOU! Contact Dr. Cross if you are interested in serving your team in this way. Go To Top of Index Artists NeededSometimes an artist can express the true feeling of a game or experience better than a photograph. We are seeking artists who can draw football activities and give the feel of the game. We will publish all drawing on this websites that you submit. If you are an artist, we will give you a page to display your art. Go To Top of Index Photographers neededA picture is worth a thousand words. That means you can tell more about what happened in the game if you will photographs the shots, the saves, the great blocks. You do not have to play to photograph. You can take picture before, during and after the game and submit them. Your team will be showcased on this website. Send your photos by mail or email them.
