Each team will be required to provide three (3) referees certified either by the USSF or FIFA who will be assigned to the same number of games the team participates in. i.e. if the team participates in four games, the referees will be assigned to four games. The referees will be assigned at least one (1) game per day. Teams that advance to the final day (championship round) of the tournament will be assigned games for that day.
All referees should wear a
complete USSF/FIFA approved uniform during all referee
assignments. A referee deposit of $325.00
will be required by each team. This entire deposit will be
refunded to each team if its referee team attends the
pre-tournament assignment meeting and satisfies all of its
assignments, a pro-rated share of the referee deposit will be
returned. The entire $325.00 will be
assessed for any missed assignment or for missing the
pre-tournament assignment meeting. In addition one (1) point will
be deducted from the standing of a team for each missed
assignment by its referees. Local standby referees will be
available throughout the day to fill in for teams missing
assignments.
Pre-Tournament Assignment Meeting
There will be an initial referee meeting the evening before the first day of the tournament. All referees are required to attend the meeting with proof of referee certification or training.
Amenities, yet to be determined may be supplied to all referees.
Tournament Chief Referee: The Tournament Chief Referee will be responsible for everything related to referees. He will develop and issue game procedures, provide orientation for referee teams, and assign referee teams to games.

| FIRST PLACE AWARDS: | The coach will be awarded the winners cup. The players will be awarded medals. |
| SECOND PLACE AWARDS: | The Coach will be awarded the 2nd place cup. The players will be awarded medals. |
| SPORTSMANSHIP AWARD: | The team in each age group that compiles the highest number of sportsmanship points will receive a sportsmanship cup, medal, or plaque. |
| Carol Cross Fair Play Award | The team among the Sportsmanship Award winners which has compiled the highest number of Sportsmanship points will receive a special cup donated by Dr. Carol Cross |
| THE LA CEIBA AWARD | The team among the Sportsmanship Award winners which has compiled the highest number of Sportsmanship points will receive a special cup donated by the Alcalde of the City of La Ceiba, Honduras. |
| PLAYERS GIFTS & SOUVENIRS: | All players and coaches will receive a souvenir AfroCarib Cup key-chain. All teams are encouraged to bring pins, patches, or other souvenirs to trade with and/or to be given as gifts to opposing teams and referees. |

Because of internet insecurity in many African countries, no applications can be sent by email. ALL APPLICATIONS MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY PAYMENT. SENDING APPLICATIONS AND PAYMENT BY DHL IS PROBABLY YOUR BEST OPTION.
