We want our soccer athletes to have the resources to still be involved in the beautiful game after their bodies will no longer sustain the highest competitive level of play. It is sad to see so many athletes end their days in poverty after living well during their playing days. Many athletes do not even think about what life will be like when the big money is no longer coming in. They make no plans. And end up living in poverty. ISAI is determined to put a stop to that by empowering our athletes, coaches and participants to put a financial plan in place right now for their future.
Thus we at ISAI are researching ways we can offer access to insurance, wealth management, and financial planning resources to those in the RAHF Global Community.
Competitive level athletes need to begin early planning for their financial future. Chances are whether they want to play at the college level or want to become professional athletes, referees or coaches, finances will be an important part of it. No athlete can afford to concentrate solely on the soccer skills. Every athlete needs to begin early learning how to invest money, plan for their future, protect themselves against possible injury and make sure that they have a good life after their playing days are over.
A key component of the LigaAmericás Fútbol World Academy program will be mandatory financial planning classes. Each soccer athlete who enters the school will be given a individual instruction program and individualized financial planning program.
