The founder of Soccer for Life, Inc., is also the founder of an online ministry being developed called the Sharers of Jesus Christ the Compassionate. We are developing a group called the Disciples of Compassion who will be actively attempting to live the giving life Jesus lived.  Jesus passed through his short lifetime giving to others.  He fed 5000.  We can feed 100, 000.  Jesus said that the things He did we can do.  And even greater things.  That is our challenge.  Jesus has laid down the gauntlet.  The truth is that we have more opportunities to do great things than Jesus did. Jesus changed the world through his compassion which is what led to our world today.  Because Jesus lived and gave our lives are rich and now:

1.  We have Bibles and the word of God easily accessible day and night

2.  We can communicate with millions of people at the same time through the Internet

3.  We can multiply our messages by translating it into many languages

4.  We can illustrate it through drawing and pictures to millions who cannot read

5. We can make cassette tapes and have people duplicate it and share it with their families and communities

6.  We who live in developed countries have the resources to travel to developing countries and share with those Jesus   commanded us to share with.

7.  We have access to online resources that people with whom Jesus talked directly  could never have imagined

8.  We have new methods of creating communities such as prayer chains, yahoo groups. Instant messaging, chat rooms, live forums, teleconferencing, high speed internet, wireless and other means of rapid and instant communication

9.  We have the educational background to understand that many of the commands of the Bible could not have been accomplished then.  Because we have so much wealth we can create programs such as giving circles to carry on our work as Disciples of Compassion

10. We can learn through the Sharers of Jesus Christ the Compassionate methods of sharing our wealth with those less fortunate

11.  We who live in developed countries like the USA, Canada, Australia, Asia and Europe can collect the unwanted and discarded surplus of our lives and share them with the millions in developing countries who do not have enough

12.  Satellites ring the earth bouncing the messages about Jesus Christ worldwide.

We are truly blessed.  WE HAVE POWER!

YOU HAVE POWER!  I Invite You and Your Church To Share With Those in Developing Countries To Help Needy People Just As Jesus Did.  I Invite You To Set Up a Prayer and Bible Study Program On The Giving Life Of Jesus.

Once you decide to make Soccer for Life your Giving Mission you can the ways you can support this project.  There are several ways to give the Cup of Hope:

A.  Hold a collection drive for soccer and sports gear (Balls, nets, shoes, cleats, uniforms, training equipment, goals, whistles, net bags, air pumps, sports bags, books, videos, CDs, publications, sports medicine, simple things like bandaids and other medical supplies,)

B.  Hold one or more Fundraising activities

We are creating a line of athletic shoes and soccer cleats that can be purchased for a small amount of money. Good soccer cleats or athletic shoes will be available for purchased here for 300-500 lempiras (15 to 20 dollars).

Setting Up the Intibuca Youth Soccer Center

Soccer For Life is planning to set up the Intibuca Youth Soccer Center for our teams we will be developing. Because of the fact that many of our Youth-At-Risk have not yet learned the social manners of those in mainstream youth leagues and soccer clubs, we feel that these youths should play among themselves until they gain better social skills.

We will be teaching soccer skills, social skills and character skills such as teamwork, dealing with anger and self control.  We will have Bible lessons and invite pastors from all the churches in Intibuca to participate in our services.

Tax Deduction Statement Is Available.

Soccer for Life is a non profit 501-(3) C organization designed to enable all the children of the Western Hemisphere to have the opportunity to play soccer, the beautiful game.  Soccer for Life has received a determination of tax exemption from Federal Income taxes . All contributions to Soccer For Life, Inc., are deductible under section 170 of the Code. That means that donations of cash as well as equipment, used soccer gear, vehicles, etc., receive a tax deduction from IRS. Any donation will be valued and you will receive a statement from Soccer for Life, Inc., that you can use to deduct from your income tax. We are classified as a public charity under 509 (a) (2) of the IRS code. We function under the laws of the State of Arizona and carry an Internal Revenue Service "Recognition of Exemption", No. 17053296009004.
