RURAL AGROINDUSTRIAL CENTERS (RAICS)

You Can Profit From A Rural Agroindustrial Center (RAIC)

A Rural Agroindustrial Center (RAIC)

RAIC based on Leucaena Effect Agroforestry can be your way to create wealth through sustainable development.  A Rural Agroindustrial Center (RAIC) combines sustainable agriculture, Leucaena Effect Agroforestry and rural agroindustrial development. There are as many ways to develop RAICS as there are modules.  Each sustainable RAIC must be based on EcoSAT Design, LeucaenaSATReal Analysis and  Leucaena Effect Agroforestry for creating an ecologically sound project.

If you have a large budget and money is no object, ISAI/TF  will work with you on a consultancy basis to develop a full on-site feasibility study. If on the other hand, you have a budget constraint and are willing to work, we will work with you to develop an Interactive Prefeasibility where you will do the actual site work in your country and we will perform all analysis here. If you want to create a RAIC that will cost no more that $500,000, you may want to use our Interactive internet RAIC Consultancy program.

PARTICIPANTS IN A COMMERCIAL RAIC

A.  Investors

Investors can gain a high return on investment.

 B. Landowners

can quadruple their income by producing value-added products.

 Entrepreneurs

create a wealth generating business enterprise with many positives.

 Suppliers

gain a new large marketplace for their equipment and eventually enlarge the scope of their production line.

Buyers

gain a sure supply of the commodity they need by becoming a part of RAIC  consortium or financing all or part of a RAIC  on a buy back arrangement. For example, buyers may want to participate in a livestock feed RAIC  simply to assure their livestock feed security.

A COMMUNITY CREATED RAIC CAN BE DEVELOPED TO PROVIDE JOBS, BRING URBAN DWELLERS BACK TO COMMUNITIES, AND SERVE AS FOCAL POINT FOR RURAL AGROINDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT.

Interactive internet RAIC Consultancy

How it works:

Step 1. You find out about Rural Agroindustrial Centers (RAICS) from a friend, a business associate, through our Home page, through a mailing list, from a print publication...

Step 2. You contact ISAI/TF  by phone, fax, mail or email

Step 3. You find out how you can get an Interactive Prefeasibility analysis or Project Assessment for only US$20000 because you do much of the work yourself

Step 4. You send us your payment by cash in full, or $7000 down, the rest when you submit your completed questionnaire

Step 5. Upon our receipt of your payment, we send you the 60 page questionnaire which you will complete within 90 days of our sending it to you.

Step 6. You complete the needed soil test analysis and other activities required for our analysis of your project

Step 7. You send the completed questionnaire to us

Step 8. We input the data into our computer

Step 9 Our computer generated proformas and charts

Step 10. Our consultant analyses the date and writes Prefeasibility analysis

Step 11. Once the Prefeasibility is completed, we offer you three RAIC package choices:

a) a small scale, low tech $75,000 labor intensive project

b) A complete MINIRAIC package US$500,000

c) A Full scale RAIC $10,000,000 project requiring a consortium

Step 12. You select the right RAIC choice for your budget, environment and interest

Step 13. You plan your RAIC

Step 14. You get your RAIC constructed and begin producing products

Step 15. You begin exporting from your RAIC.

A RAIC with several production modules based on local farmers supplying Leucaena and agroresidues such as rice and wheat straw, sugar cane bagasse and others to make livestock feed, litter, organic fertilizer, particle board material, fuel briquettes, and multifibre paper.  Will you be one of the *proactive ecoentrepreneurs* who profits from the paradigm shift to *sustainability*?

1. SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE!

2.  LEUCAENA EFFECT AGROFORESTRY

3. RURAL AGROINDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT

These are the three components of sustainable rural agroindustrial development - an ecoentrepreneurial system that has just begun. And, you can profit from this *paradigm shift* for rural development. You can be *proactive*, take the risk of getting in on the ground floor of Leucaena Effect Agroforestry right now, and reap the profits as you become a part of a *consortium* to create a rural agroindustrial center (RAIC).

Tropical farming communities tend to be small in population and have a wide dispersal due to large land parcels required for farming. In order to create industries from farmers’ production a central processing area is required. Here low value raw materials including AgroResidues as well as directed crops such as Leucaena, Sesbania, Crotalaria, Guar, and Leucaena can be brought in for processing. In order for this processing area to succeed in meeting the needs of your country, it will need to be centrally located in an agricultural area so that it will be economic to haul materials to it. Indeed, more than one such centrally located processing area will be required to serve all the needs of your country's farmers. A Tropical Rural Agro-Industries Center (TRAIC)™ is a large scale integrated rural development project designed for these purposes:

Leucaena Production Society along with several other groups are seeking to create a TRAIC™ in your country, which could be a consortium of farmers, entrepreneurs, researchers, state and national government agencies, In-country and international investors. The TRAIC™ will then be in a position to profitably produce agribased products from alternative crops like Leucaena , Sesbania, and Guar combined with agricultural wastes such as bagasse, rice and wheat straw, and forest wastes.

Integral to the TRAIC™ is the development of a project to produce Leucaena, Sesbania, and agroresidues and forest residues based products. Leucaena, Sesbania, oil palm hulls, coffee hulls, are exciting crops that can serve as the raw materials base in many agro-industries and can easily be grown in the tropics. The project includes the TRAIC™ and adjacent satellite/feeder farming projects.

The TRAIC™might include any combination of these components:

The TRAIC™ will create low income equity sharing housing, employment and a new sense of being a part of Leucaena Effect Agroforestry, the growth industry of the 21st century.

ISAI/TF is presently developing the TRAIC™ as a three way joint venture. The joint venture will be structured between ISAI/TF , one or more international and/or in-country investor groups, and a landowner in your country. If you are interested in participating in the development of a TRAIC™ in your country, contact:.

The TRAIC™ satellite farming project offers farmers in the tropics the opportunity to create a profitable project on a small part of their land. The TRAIC will generate employment. In addition each of the farmers can produce his own economic development project as a profit center through the development of 100+ hectare TRAIC™ satellite feeder projects that will include:
